About
Born in a beautiful South Asian country, named Bangladesh, I have spent my childhood learning and performing South Asian Classical Dance. Along the journey, I have joined Children’s Theater to learn the art of acting and participated in many TV dramas and musicals as a child actress. In 2003 and 2004, I have won National Award for Dancing and Acting in the junior category.
In 2015, I have come to USA as an international student after receiving Provost Scholar’s Award. My love for art and motivation to connect art and technology together with my work led me to choose Computer Engineering along with Math minor in my Sophomore year.
I have worked as a Student Technician from January 2016 to May 2017 at Faculty Computing Service, Hofstra University and was exposed to working in varieties of sectors. I have spent my Fall 2017 semester by teaching students of Progressive School of Long Island scratch and JavaScript programming along with on campus job.
In summer 2017, I am working as a Web Developer Intern at Weill Cornell Medicine. I am still participating in many events such as, hackathons, seminars and volunteering!
